Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to determine functional limitations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans focused on improving daily living and work-related skills.
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to help patients achieve their goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to manage daily tasks and promote independence.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training in its use.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and progress reports.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Stay current with developments in occupational therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid license or registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
- Strong understanding of human development and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Experience with pediatric, adult, or geriatric populations is a plus.
