Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ nutritional needs through comprehensive evaluations and health histories.
- Develop customized meal plans tailored to individual health goals, medical conditions, and preferences.
- Provide counseling and education on healthy eating habits, weight management, and disease prevention.
- Monitor progress and adjust dietary recommendations as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
- Conduct workshops or awareness sessions on nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of client information.
- Stay current with the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Certification or license from a recognized regulatory authority (as applicable).
- Strong knowledge of nutritional science and dietary guidelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
- Empathetic and professional approach to client care.
- Experience with specific conditions such as diabetes, obesity, or cardiovascular issues is a plus.
